The Haitian American Museum of Chicago es hosting a Sip and Shop celebration for the March birthdays of staff, volunteers and friends of the museum at the new HAMOC Vodou store (4654 N. Racine Ave.) Tickets are free, but spots are limited.
🥘Mon. March 20, 5 – 8 p.m.
Chicago Chefs from Avli, Piccolo Sogno and more are coming together to raise money for earthquake relief after the deadly earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Funds raised will be sent to World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit organization that works on the frontlines to provide meals to those impacted by disaster. Tickets start at $125 for general admission. Donations are also accepted.

Join Chicago authors Jessamine Chan and Erika Sánchez for the paperback release of Chan’s book, “The School for Good Mothers” at Semicolon Bookstore (515 N. Halsted St.). Register online to attend.
