Friday, Dec. 17 – Visit Kavi Gupta gallery (219 N. Elizabeth St.) for an evening of music, art and performances that pay homage to Chicago’s drag underground scene of the ’90s! The event is hosted by artists Ále Campos/Celeste and Jeffrey Gibson, who is currently exhibiting at the gallery.
Saturday Dec. 18 – Learn how to make creative cocktails inspired by flavors of the Caribbean! Tickets for the virtual workshop with Miguel Alvelo of Cola de Gallo are $20, with funds going to support 33rd Ward Working Families.
Friday–Sunday, Dec. 17–19 – Humboldt Park’s Lolita’s Bodega is having a pop-up market at Navy Pier from 12 to 6 p.m.! Get last-minute holiday shopping done and peruse the offerings by local makers.
